It's about civilisation, the technology that appears unshakable yet it and the people caught up in this hi-tech age will p: ashes to ashes; and the technology eventually turned to rust. Omaha jumps into my memory as one of the five staging beaches for the D Day landings. Omaha Beach was a bloodbath.
