Which gun is better for prairie dog hunting?

Savage no longer makes the model25 series--not sure what the difference was but the model 12 BVSS is, in my experience, a better firearm. Yes, the 12 was and is more expensive than the 25 but the 12 has stood the test of time and the 25 didn't. Anyway, in the interest of full disclosure I own a 12 BVSS--actually I own 2 of them, one in .223. I had the choice to buy anything and price really wasn't a factor--I chose the Savage over Remington, Tikka, CZ, Sako, Ruger...... You might like something better and in the final ysis you should buy what you really want to buy. You might be disappointed, but if you start out really wanting to buy something else I can guarantee you'll be disappointed.
