Using a Western Bridle for English?

Okay So I have a Western Bridle with a basic egg snaffle on it. I am thinking of training a horse for English. She has been broke western and I was wondering if I could use my western bridle with the Egg snaffle before I get an English Bridle(I think we only have 1 that is currently being used by my cousin)
