Information on GA Department of Corrections, Diagnostics?

My bf just got transferred a there a couple days ago,and I'm so worried. Hes been in gwinnett county for 10 months and out of no where he got transferred. I know he cant call or have visits any time soon but around when can he start calling? And when can he start getting visits? Can i mail him pictures? How do i put money on his account? He has a 7 year sentence so how long would he stay there. He says he might get out around September, because there was never sufficient evidence, and his lawyer wasn't even ready. I need all information possible.
