Do I have to be a certified firefighter to run lights/sirens on my pov?

I'm in Ohio, I'm not planning to be a certified firefighter, just equipment "*****" and running the pumps on the engines. If I joined the volunteer fire department in the next town over, would it be illegal for me to respond to the fire house with lights and/or sirens on my car? Or does it not matter if I am certified or not?
